Selective Opportunities:
Listening Sessions and Construction COI IGE Session

JETC Listening Sessions: Applications are closed.

SAME, in coordination with several services and government agencies, is offering exclusive Listening Sessions. Participation is limited and by application. These sessions are a key aspect of SAME’s industry-government engagement efforts, enabling industry leaders to give feedback to and dialog directly with the senior leader of these agencies. They provide a unique opportunity to build shared understanding of the issues most affecting project execution. As a reminder, these Listening Sessions are limited to senior industry leaders: CEOs, COOs, Vice Presidents, Directors, and similar positions. Agency participants are subject to change based on scheduling availability.

SAME Construction COI IGE Session

As part of SAME’s 2026 JETC, the Construction COI will be hosting an invitation-only Industry-Government Engagement (IGE) session to explore the issues surrounding industrialized construction on Tuesday, May 19, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Military construction must deliver more facilities faster and cheaper, but bespoke on-site builds can’t scale. Industrialized Construction shifts work to factories, enabling parallel production, reduced labor constraints, higher quality, and repeatability. DOW’s $20B pipeline supports IC economics; recent NDAA authorities help. Remaining barriers include UFC complexity, acquisition rules, and fragmented service demand.

The number of SENIOR Industry participants will be limited to no more than 18 people and will be selected from the pool of qualified applicants.

Recommended senior industry participants include company Presidents, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Regional, Sector or other Vice Presidents, and Federal/Agency Program Directors with specific experience in industrialized construction.
