One on One Networking Appointments

This year’s Virtual JETC features One-on-One Networking Appointments between attendees. These meetings will lay the foundation to develop new relationships and provide additional opportunities to connect and network with other attendees! All appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees are responsible for managing their own availability, sending meeting requests and accepting or declining requests from other attendees

Here’s how it works:

  1. All full conference attendees have the opportunity to accept and request appointments with other attendees through the Attendee Service Center.
  2. Attendees can search for other attendees based on the demographic information submitted during the registration process. You can search for other attendees based off NAICS code, primary job responsibility, business type, last name, and location.
  3. Appointments are 15 minutes long with a 5-minute break in between appointments
  4. All appointments are ONE-ON-ONE!
  5. All appointments are by virtual video chat through the Virtual JETC event platform

SAME is not responsible for making appointments, approving appointments, accepting or denying appointments, checking appointment schedules, providing appointment reminders, insuring accuracy of all attendees' availability, and does not guarantee that appointment requests will be accepted by other attendees


  • Attendees can set their availability now through their Attendee Service Center account.
  • Appointment requests open on May 5, 2021 at 12 Noon eastern time
  • All attendees will receive a notification if your requested appointment has been accepted or declined or if you have received a appointment request. Notifications are sent from the system to alert both parties of the appointment.
  • Please honor all appointments in your schedule. If you are unable to make an appointment due to a schedule conflict, please message the other party and ask to reschedule.
  • You can log into the ASC at any time to see your personal appointment requests, approved appointments, and appointment schedule.

All One-on-one Networking Appointments take place through the Virtual JETC live event platform. SAME will post a tutorial video on how to access your appointments during the event.

All appointment holders and should log into the live event platform at the start of each scheduled appointment. As a reminder, each appointment is 15 minutes long with a 5 min break in between. SAME will not keep track of time for each appointment so we ask that both  attendees respect each other’s schedules and arrive to the virtual appointment on time and be aware of length of each meeting.
